In My Own Eyes

It is interesting to explore the methodologies that photographers use in their work to convey meaning. On reflection, this has allowed me to review my own methodologies that can be seen in my own work here. It is evident that capturing off-the-cuff moments is important to me, in an effort to capture everyday situations from various cultural perspectives. The idea that ‘ordinary’ only exists to a particular group of people and ideologies is intriguing, as it demonstrates how perception is localised. By including colour, typography and various other components within a scene at eye level, I aim to show people that there is a world beyond their own.
